“Failure Lab" is a creative performance space where moldy indices of unmade performance works are exorcized for public viewing: stacked back to back like superbowl commercials or instagram ads. All of them are likely terrible.
Failure Lab is a shared methodology for decoupling artistic creation from capitalism, productivity culture, and perfectionism. It celebrates incoherence, decay, incompleteness, regurgitation; serializing and trash are welcome and expected.
Failure Lab: Channel Changer premiered on March 1st in the form of a monochromatic margarine yellow living room set with a vintage RCA TV and remote. Eat your TV dinner in our living room and flip through TV channels at your leisure: stay with what grabs you and flip past whatever you hate.
