Surface Tension, 2025 is a student performance of preliminary research for a new work for seven floorwork dancers and two light fixtures. It is a meditation on risk and community care. In a dark world, held close through directed lighting and a tension between what is seen and unseen, seven dancers oscillate and glide through one another, through space, and through time, underpinned by an original score from Marco Gill.
